چکیده
Introduction: Non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas (NHLs) are hematolymphoid malignancies. Bone marrow biopsy (BMB) is performed for staging. BMB findings an important indicator of prognosis and treatment planning. In this study, we compared flow cytometry in involvement lymphoma patients. Objectives: This study aimed to compare the frequency bone biopsy, based on gender, mean age between two groups with without struggling cytometry, ages all genders biopsy. Patients Methods: was cross-sectional, population included patients affected by NHL, which disease staging referred Seyed Al-Shohada hospital affiliated Isfahan University medical sciences during 2016-2020. Four color devices (PARTEC CyFlow Space, Germany) EXBIO antibody kits (Spain) were used. Results: number samples 107, 68 (63.6%) male, (standard deviation) total 40.87 (18.98) years. All diagnosed as examined Flow 14 (13.1%), 22 (20.6%). 97 cases (90.6%), diagnosis both methods same. Nine (8.4%) had only, one case (1%) only. As a result, who participated project about 21.5%. Conclusion: We concluded that evaluation using combined more efficient than or alone. also recommended physicians use at same time.

The Role of Bone Marrow Aspiration and Bone Marrow Biopsy in Diagnosis of Bone Marrow Metastases
Background: Bone marrow is the site of many malignant disorders and it is one of the common places for solid tumors to metastasize. Examination of the bone marrow aspirate and biopsy is a routine procedure performed for assessment of various conditions such as cytopenias, hematologic neoplasms, nonmalignant disorders and metastatic neoplasms. Methods: The patients were referred to the Hema...
متن کاملPET/CT Scanner and Bone Marrow Biopsy in Detection of Bone Marrow Involvement in Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma
Evaluation of bone marrow involvement (BMI) is paramount in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) for prognostic and therapeutic reasons. PET/CT scanner (PET) is now a routine examination for the staging of DLBCL with prognostic and therapeutic implications. This study evaluates the role of PET for detecting marrow involvement compared to bone marrow biopsy (BMB). This monocentric study include...
متن کاملBone Marrow Flow Cytometry in Staging of Patients With B-cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma
BACKGROUND Bone marrow biopsies are routinely performed for staging patients with B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). In addition to histomorphological studies, ancillary tools may be needed for accurate diagnosis. We investigated the clinical utility of multiparameter flow cytometric examination of bone marrow aspirates. METHODS A total of 248 bone marrow specimens from 232 patients diagnosed...
متن کاملDiagnosis of Myeloid Sarcoma of Female Breast by Routine Microscopic Findings Using Immunohistochemical Method, Bone Marrow Aspiration and Flow Cytometry
Myeloid sarcoma of female breast is a rare presentation of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The tumor mass may precede or occur concurrently with AML, CML, myeloproliferative disorders, and/or myelodysplastic syndromes. Histologically, it looks like a large cell lymphoma and can be misdiagnosed. A case refe...
متن کاملUse of FDG PET/CT in identification of bone marrow involvement in diffuse large B cell lymphoma and follicular lymphoma: comparison with iliac crest bone marrow biopsy
Background: Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL) accounts for around 4% of new cancer cases annually. Bone marrow involvement is important for staging and management. FDG PET/CT is used increasingly to identify this, in addition to bone marrow biopsy (BMB), which is seen as ‘gold’ reference standard. Purpose: To compare determination of bone marrow involvement by FDG PET/CT against BMB in Diffuse Large...
